Report It Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy outlines what information is gathered on the various Report It corporate web sites, which currently including, www.reportit.com, www.mobile.Reportit.com, and the Report It Apps (The Platforms). Report It considers data protection and privacy to be of paramount importance. We never sell personal data and we carry out all processing operations in strict compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) as well as the Laws of Pennsylvania and the United States, where Report It is incorporated, and other applicable privacy and data protection laws (collectively, the “Applicable Law”).
For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (or household as applicable); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person (the “Personal Data”).

Our participating organization Data Policy:
If you are submitting a report to a Report It Customer using our mobile apps and hosted websites, the Customer has complete ownership and rights to any of data and information submitted to them through Report It. The data provide to the Customer is limited to any data that you choose to include in your report submission.
We collect, store, share, and retain personal contact information only for purposes for which we were authorized by the Customer.
Report It Corporate Web sites Information Collection and Use
Report It may collect and use information about our customers and website visitors when you interact with us, when you use our products and services, and when you visit our websites.
This information is used to deliver, provide, and improve our services; establish and maintain customer accounts and billing records; monitor website statistics; and manage and protect our networks.
Contact Us E-mail and/or Contact Us Form(s)
Report It sometimes requires a user to provide contact and organization information by filling out one of its forms, mobile apps or sending an e-mail or message from our web sites or mobile apps.
Report It is the sole owner of the information collected through the contact us forms on the Report It corporate web site (www.reportit.com).
Web Site Log Files
Report It collects anonymous information about visitors to our websites. Report It uses IP addresses to administrate and monitor our web sites and collect data to analyze user trends and site usage. IP addresses are not linked to any personally identifiable information. Report It collected information may include browser type, IP address, URL accessed, and traffic information.
Links to other Web Sites
Report It displays links to other web sites and is not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites.
Third Parties
We do not share participating organization data with third parties.
Analytics
We may also use Google Analytics and other service providers to collect information regarding visitor behavior on our Corporate Report It Website. We never collect any Personal Identifying Information (PII) without your consent. For more information about Google Analytics, please visit www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. You can opt out of Google’s collection and processing of data generated by your use of the Services by going to http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Cookies
Report It uses cookies to process information including standard internet log information and details of the visitor’s behavioral patterns upon visiting our site. This is done to provide you with a better experience, and to facilitate the use of certain functions. Cookies are small data files transferred onto computers or devices by sites for record-keeping purposes and to enhance functionality on our site. Report It does not process this information to identify individual users.
Data Accessibility
We provide full data accessibility for Customers that are contracted with Report It for access, review, and management of user submitted reports.
Data Retention
Report It retains information no longer than necessary to deliver services to our participating organizations.
Personal Information
We do not sell or distribute user personal information.
Data Security
At Report It, security is very important to us.
Report It has implemented SSL technology on reporting applications that it hosts for each Customer. SSL technology ensures that your session is completely private and secure from both external systems and other customers using our system.
We maintain a comprehensive security program that is reasonably designed to protect the security, privacy, confidentiality, and integrity of personal data against risks - such as unauthorized access or use, or unintended or inappropriate disclosure - through the use of administrative, technological, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. E-mail Opt-Outs
Report It corporate e-mail communications that are sent have clear instructions on how to unsubscribe from future mailings. This can be accomplished by clicking on the unsubscribe link that is provided within an e-mail.
Children’s Information
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or other age as required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If you learn that your child has provided us with Personal Data without your consent, you may contact us at customersupport@reportit.com. If we learn that we have collected any Personal Data in violation of Applicable Law, we will promptly take steps to delete such information.
Data Subject Access Requests DSAR/SAR
Subject to the exceptions noted below in this policy, Report It, will comply with any SAR concerning the following rights of the data subject:
- Access (a copy of the personal data undergoing processing)
- Rectification of personal data (correction of data stored or processed)
- Erasure (‘right to be forgotten')
- Restriction of processing Notification regarding rectification or erasure
- Data portability (In the event of a Data Portability Request, Report It, LLC will export the customers data in an industry standard format and make it internet accessible for download only by the data subject)
- Objection to processing (withdrawal of consent to processing)
- Automated individual decision-making, including profiling
- Do Not Sell requests under the CCPA
- The SAR must be submitted via email to customersupport@reportit.com
SAR when Report It is the data processor:
- Report It will acknowledge any manual requests within 3 business days.
- Report It LLC has one month from the initial request date to complete the request. There are very limited circumstances in which an extension to that one month will be provided.
- The SAR application will be documented and can be audited using Report It internal processes.
GDPR Compliance
Where Personal Data is processed for the above purposes on the basis of Report It’s legitimate interests, under the GDPR, you may object to such processing at any time. To do so please contact: customersupport@reportit.com
In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
